Good mechanical Keyboards for gaming? Ideal switches?

Hello guys.

I want to buy a good mechanical keyboard.
Atm i am owning a Logitech G15 Refresh.

Currently i don't really know what to buy.

I've read alot atm and went through many pages and keyboards.

6gv2 - Good & cheap. Dealbreaker: Printing on the keys is bad & changed layout.

7g - Same as 6gv2 with some ports and wrist rest.. 50€/$ more for that.. duhh no.

Razer Blackwidows - Expensive and quality / design flaws as it seems, no.

Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja - How awsome does this look? Wow. Really expensive 169€, the hell. If it wouldn't be that expensive i would've bought it i guess.

das Keyboard Silent - Awsome look, nice switches. Dealbreaker is more the glossy finish.

Ducky DK9000 / DK9008 - Awsome Keyboard.. i guess it's bit cheaper than the Majestouch.. but i can't find it in EU..

WASDKeyboards - They do seem nice.. but not for EU shipping as i've seen

...

Well atm i do think about getting the dasKeyboard Silent:

Looks really promising.. or do you think i should get another?

2nd: Which Keyswitches do you prefer?
I kinda think the browns are nice.

They are sweet silent and more like a mix of blues & blacks.

I like it more minimalistic if i buy a Keyboard.
I prefer the dasKeyboard over it.

spending more than 10 euros on a keyboard, lol
Well, buying a membrane Keyboard for that price (G15.. i know..) is kinda not worth it.
But those mechanical Keyboards are kinda another level of typing & gaming.

I am a daskeyboard ultimate user => mechanical keyboard with cherry MX blue keyswitches. Very nice to type on but maybe not perfect for a gamer, but I need it for my work.

Here is a sample :3

about the keyswitches,

blue for typing brown for gaming.

As a steelseries fan not recommending their keyboards, they suck because of 1 thing: that backspace button. Who the fuck is so dumb to make it this small. Like really is there anything more annoying than that?
Ye i saw people writing on a dasKeyboard with blue switches and comparing them to the browns.

The brown ones are more silent (blue have an annoying sound and i have the feeling my mum will kill me when shes sleeping) & have the tactile feedback.

They are a mix of blue and blacks.. which is a nice combo for me though.
It's like they are a good balance of between typing & gaming. The brown keys on the dasKeyboard do look really solid. Better than on the Razer Blackwidow Stealth for some strange reason.

Yeah, that changed layout is so strange.

actually I like the sound it makes ^^ but yeah you can actually keep people awake with it or annoy people on teamspeak / skype or annoy coworkers.. :D

take the 6gv2, best keyboard I had so far.. Sound is nice, the printing isnt actually that bad and it's durable :)
Check www.geekhack.org , they know a lot about keyboards and their uses.

Don't know fuck all about mice though.
They know a lot about mice actually! It's just that they are ergonomic mice not intended for gaming.

+1 to this

They used to have strange fascinations with mice though

Using Razer Blackwidow atm
No problems whatsoever.
If you like browns, try a Zowie Celeritas, i am really happy with mine
Imo you should first find out what keyswitches you like and then choose a keyboard.
The Qpad MK-50 is a reasonable alternative to the ones you mentioned. Depending on what switches you want, you can get it for ~80EUR (MX-Red) or ~100EUR (MX-Brown/Blue/Black).

Filco and WASD are too expensive for us Europeans imo. The switches will last forever anyway, and the keycaps WILL get shiny, no matter what keyboard you buy.
Qpad mk-50 ! !
Using a Mionix Zibal 60 and I like it. The heaviest keyboard I've ever encountered.
The new Ducky tenkeyless backlighted keyboards should be coming out in a few months. I might get the brown switch version. I quite like the feel of my Steelseries 7G (which I only bought because I got it for cheap) but it's taking too much space and the layout is a bit of a pain in the backside.
