Seriously, this game is unfinished. The massive nerfs on monk e.g. completely fucked it up for many players & the loot system is fundamentally flawed.
Dno if I'll continue to play this game.
Then again I just intend to take the game less seriously and will try to just equip the stuff that the game throws at me while I'm playing through all the difficulty levels. The only problem I have with the game right now is that I don't have 40+ hours/week to keep up with all the other nerds and that it's just not that hard (even if you play solo 24/7). I haven't farmed any bosses and even then I think my character is stronger than it should be right now (e.g. I only die when I'm checking some settings and some mob of elites swarms me or when I fuck up against bosses).
Edit: The fact that PVP wasn't included in the original release pretty much says "UNFINISHED" in big, bright neon letters. I guess they just wanted to rush it out in time for the summer holidays.
As barbarian it's pretty hard to get any life with the skills you have, just some skill you can use every 10 secs, which you only get at level 54, the monk just keeps regenerating life and can get some more healing ontop of that.
The AH is not exactly selling to affordable prices, not at all times, some prices are totally ridiculously high, especially for legendary items.
Plus the smith weapons are already shit, even without the AH being involved. the only item i can use of it is a shield at the moment. the weapons you can craft are plain aweful for the level you're able to use them. at least until level 60 it's not worth to use it imo (havn't max'ed it out yet).
I haven't gotten the game, but if I do I will prolly play coop with a few friends or play alone. I would take some time to enjoy the game instead of rushing public games and abusing game mechanics. Not that there is anything wrong with playing like that, it's just that by playing the beta I learned that this game suits my needs perfectly (casual rpg player). The only time I understood people having problems with balance in a game was with PVP and end-game raiding in WoW and pvp in diabloII
