Amazing. =)
Cba with GTA on PC since I was half way through GTA4 and they released some patch.. my entire game played in 3x speed, including the Radio station which played my own mp3s hosted locally on my pc.
Never even got to go bowling with Roman.
sick. but even if it looks so great, you also notice that there is still potential in doing better :O
there always is. the questions remaining are though, has anyone done so or will anyone any time soon?! :)
apart from that it's imo decent enough to acknowledge it as something good indeed, not just... a step further or something

I'm just wondering how many major releases ended up using their previous two engines.
looks amazing :o
Going to make us Cry about pc requirements.
i was wondering when a new butchji journal gonna pop up
Yeah great, now make it work better than that bad console port that was GTA IV
needs bouncing boobs.
gta will use these features? okay looks realistic but won't it be way too hard to drive with it? and you'll like crash once and car destroyed?
What do you mean? Im used to drive throu altleast 25 ppl a day and crash into walls from time to time , then i just repaint my car for 25$ and everything is ok.

on a srs note, i dont like where its goin, the best GTA was GTA2 for sure.

that if you crash once your car in theory is already broken and non driveable wheeras in gta:sa for example your damage model isnt that advanced and your car will just start burning with too much dmg

that is just a video of cry engine 3 develop:P not gta v gameplay

They keep impressing me.

But how much vectors did they use tough? :/
Calculating the impact of an object to a certain surface doesn't require that much cpu power. What pretty much eats power is a realistic model adjustment based on the impact (eg: that hood doesn't have a static model shape anymore but can be adjusted at runtime). In that video above, they pretty much miss some vital parts to make it look more realistic. Yet, it's looking great so far!

Yap, seems so.

Still interested of how did they managed to do it so right :D

Btw,I hope CE4 in future will use OpenCL API tough.
