good players is not everything just look at england for the past years, Greece win in 2004 and more. If they will play together and their defense will hold up they could go far.

I wouldn't call Rami, Mexes, Evra, Clichy or Debuchy, to list the best of them, a poor defense. The reason to our under performances the past few years were caused by the shittiest coach ever seen in this history of our national team.
Laurent Blanc knows what he does and even if we don't do anything great this year because of this fresh new line-up I'm pretty sure France has the skills to win the next WC.

We'll see what happens in a week :)

he dosen't want to pick both terry and ferdinand because of the Anton Ferdinand and Terry case. Smalling is injured and last time Micah Richards wasn't picked for some friendly when Capello was still in charges he was making fun off the team on twitter and has never been picked since. Dosen't matter who got picked not like Kelly is gonna play a single minute.
