Just started the motorcycle license today. Hopefully I will be done within 4 weeks. Going to buy some random supersport-bike (2004 or younger with 100bhp/ps or more).. gsx-r 600/750, cbr 600, smth like that.. for ~4000€ - 5000€. It's just for this summer I guess so I get to learn the machine and how to control it. Guess in the end it will get destroyed at the Panonia-Ring anyway. Next summer I plan on buying a completely new machine.
Triump Daytona 675r
Ducati 848 Evo
Duacti 1199 S (guess that will be too strong for me but will see after a test drive :D)
Honda CBR 1000RR
Or some yamaha maybe?
In any case I will do a test drive with all bikes and then decide for the one that feels right to me.
Anyone here driving similiar motorcycles or has been driving in the past? Would like to hear some recommendation on what to buy for the beginning as well as what could be nice for me in the end :P

U can get some decent bikes for 5000. Start with a Suzuki GSX 750 F katana, its cheap and nice to drive!
I wonder if a 1000ccm is really what I need or if a smaller one (Daytona 675 r) would already be enough. I have never driven one. No idea what is possible with 120bhp/ps and 190bhp/ps.
Let's start with the Honda imo if u wanna select one of your propositions but dunno if you will any assurance for it cause u'll be a new driver ;)
Maybe just start with a Kawasaki Z-750 or a Honda Hornet 600
got 1 ;) black 2007
my first bike btw
dont know if you r tall but i am 1.93 and it fits greate....
tried the r6 but....didnt work.
and the triumph got 3 cylinders....amazing sound with the arrow
its a greate bike believe me!!!!
Started with the CB600F hornet from Honda myself.
Very reliable bike, easy to control and enough power, you won't get bored of this bike easely.
..it depends.. how beasty handling himself in traffic...if you have experience driving a car for a few years..its a plus..
I am not saying it isnt saver to start with a naked...but I know myself and I have a car for 14 years and have some more experience at the road...
think beasty got the same feeling if he starts with a naked 600....becouse he wants a racer.
driving with a 170bhp car for 1 year know, first car was some smaller one with quickshifting and some crap tuning :D Total 3 years. Also drove 6 months as a truck driver.
z1000 or z750 its good !
or buy a new t-max 500 best scooter ! ! !! for ever
