which version of ET/etpro/anticheat to use

Hello all, I would like to re-install ET after a long time but have no idea what versions of ET / etpro / anticheat to use anymore if I was going to play some public games. Thanks for any hints in advance!

I do remember installing ET with the ultimate installer once but it was constantly crashing afterwards for some reason. I guess if I install the parts manually it should be ok. Thanks for the quick reply!

ET Pack will:
- fuck up any chance of a decent config
- disallow console output
- install it in a really weird place, for no real reason
