Opening games are always hard and Portugal is underrated. Furthermore it's better to grow during a tournament than to start in best form imo.

Just the father is from Spain. Mother from Germany, born in Germany, raised in Germany, speaks only German, only German passport, learned playing football in Germany, says he's a German and nothing else. So no, he isn't from Spain, he is a German. :)
