in closed ? just money and "hurry" with components etc, reached B9 car but didnt have enough level for A-class so kinda stopped playing :p and missed that podium-race ffs wouldve wanted those free points for open beta also :D
i dont have noticed much lags but theres plenty of ramming if you start from the end of the grid but it just makes it more challenging and more fun =) if you start from the top of the grid racing is much more cleaner as drivers are better aswell
for the fun dunno it depends, i love that arcade feeling of it but i havent played other racing games that much so im not in love with realism or normal steering etc :P lag can be annoying but its not a problem in that. mostly i hate loading times and the grind you gotta do for better car :P
but best would be just try it, theres 2 sections of racing, your own team: starts from U class, then to C, B and A class. Getting into B & A will be very grindy and kind of sucks but cant complain too much for free game ;P also you can race with F1 Cars which are very fast and with lots of grip so its totally opposite from your own team
thx for the reply... maybe i give it a try.. i like games with a lot of realism...thats was one of the reason why i didint play the f1 games for a while... i rly miss the old ones :(
