Its ok, nothing fancy tbh
the worst sequel to a good game bioware has ever made. not even worth trying as none of the things that made the first installment unique remain in this one.
what you are looking for is "The Witcher 2" (enhanced edition)

e: mind to share your fav skyrim mods? im up to around 110 now but think i could easy do with some more.
Share share share, need some mods. The only ones I've got atm are:
House Mapmarkers, Breezehome Enchanced, Stones of Barenziah Questmarkings, Vampire Overhaul, Master the Space-Time Continuum, Faster Vanilla Horses, Whistle, Conjure Rideable Ethereal Horse.

those are my essential GFX mods
sound wise i have stuff like

-lightning during thunderstorm
-realistic thunder sound
-Sound of Skyrim: Dungeons
-Sound of Skyrim: The Wilds
-Clanking Armor
-IceBreaker's improved Reverb
- ...

then i use weight reduction mods cause i love looting, namely stuff like
-weightless ingredients
-lighter potions
-lighter dragon bones
-scroll weight removed
-Potions renamed
- ...

then i use balancing stuff like:
- Enahnced High Level Gameplay (most important mod ever if you want to play longer than 5hours)
- Fixed Followers Lite
- Longer Blessings
- Valuable hunting +
- Soma's Archery Overhall
- Better Magic
- Spells give off light (usefgul with my GFX mods cause darkness actually is freaking dark)
- Increased bounty rewards
- Better dragon loot
- More dragons
- Enhanced Alduin (main quest final battle is boring as fuck w/o this)
- ...

also really small fixes such as:
-no more arrows to the knee
-fetch the mead
-reduced NPC greeting distance
-less condecending guards
- ...

additional music and crafting recepies and other content, e.g.
-Dragon armor and weapon set complete
-Crafting+
-Enhanced Smithing
-Craftable Lockpicks
-Mounted followers
-The Grotto - Arena for Skyrim
-Weapon Variant Expansion

and soooo much more. there is just too much out there. i am most interested in major stuff like city overhauls and GFX improvements, additional sounds/music and even gameplay mechanics.
Also rebalancing is quite important but i also adore the fact that there are so many minor changes in fixes out there that contribute to a better immersion.

Well, I know what to do for the next few days. Thanks!

try to stick with the load order that i posted for the GFX mods. this should enable all of them to work without it crashing.
for the other mods it doesnt really matter.
i suggest buying the game on steam (workshop makes it so enjoyable to browse for mods) but if you cant/didnt/dont want to you should use the mod manager from skyrimnexus.
skyrimnexus is also the site you want to visit for the rcrn base file and the other one i pointed out that isnt on steam.

i guess it goes without saying that you should backup ur save files and start a new character for all the mods to take full effect (especially follower mods and rebalancing of random mobs or guards).

Bought it on DVD :)

Key can be redeemed on steam.
enables you to manage and browse mods with workshop (first game ever to be featured on steam workshop afaik) and will keep all of them up2date.
Parent
Well, I'm already using that Workshop, installed Skyrim using steam!
Parent
Thats the easiest way to go.
Enjoy mate you wont be able to believe how different it looks. I have them for quite a while yet I find myself screencapping scenic places.
Parent
Holy fuck this is amazing. Dungeons tend to be scary as fuck tho :o Luckily I have my vampire nightsight.
Parent
ye you really have to work with light and shade. never used a single torch ever (neither in oblivion) but this shit just makes it nessecary.
Parent
Quoteno more arrows to the knee

its a shitty console port.

if you like the dragon age universe you should give it a try, but don't expect a good rpg
