Russians and poker

Why are the Russians so bad at poker? Is it down to the sheer volume of them that play? The majority of them seem to be brain dead whilst playing.

there's some pretty skilled players iirc.. but not like in the US where there's more tournaments etc.

i think Tony G was born in either Russia or Ukraine, also Demidov, Kravchenko and Lunkin are good

They would obviously have some good players too, I'm talking about the majority of online players. Tony G was born in Lithuania

They are the worst, right next to the south - americans.
But they get lucky as fuck, guess that keeps them playing.

so basically u lost something to due enemy being lucky reraising 23 agaisnt your AA preflop so u go mads and say all russians are dumb at poker and win due to being lucky and hugging bears and drinking vodka

They are really loose aggressive players. Some of them are good, most of them are not

what I've seen polish and spanish ppl are the worst like generally. also french guys are often very entertaining.
