who cares what mouse, just get a cheap one, mx518 if u want a gamer mouse, same with mousepad, having expensive gaming gear wont make u any better, even tho it's recommended to have a good surface

But DA is pretty cheap :)

I'm using galiathus for over 3 years, and its still good. ofc I washed it 5 - 6 times. For not ultralow sens users its very good I think.

I got an icemat but I'm not really sure whether its actually all that good.. its really annoying sometimes when a small piece of dirt is on it and you're constantly cleaning it while playing

I have a SteelSeries Sensei and a QcK (also have QcK+ but don't use it). Didn't pay for any of them, though. Probably wouldn't have bought the Sensei, pretty high priced and I don't play any games.

the sensei is a good mouse but if you don't need any of the gimmicks and only need to play games the xai is really all you need. The xai mouse is awesome you don't need any drivers thus you can connect it to any computer and the settings are just right.

if you can, try the shape (grip) of your new mouse before buying! (you could regret a lot to buy something that you cannot fit)

I haven't looked that much at the sensai as I already have a xai, but I do know the sensai has a relatively fast processor thus it can do a lot more 'fancy' stuff on board than the xai can. This also includes higher dpi settings than the sensor would allow. It also has some gimmick features like your own logo on the lcd display..

steelseries Xai is the same as the Sensei, there is only few more feature (like x2 dpi = useless, colour LED = useless)

you might watch my journal if someone answer, you'll get a part of the answer with technical test about mice (here you only got fanboys who don't know any shit about mice, "sensei is amazing, xai sucks")

i heard the steelseries kinzu v2 is pretty good on quake(=ET), but there isn't any side buttons :<
