New headset <3

Hello hello,

I need a new headset since my Steelseries 5H V2 usb is broke..

I'm looking for smth around the price of +-100€. It also should fit around my ears..

It will be used for music/movies/gaming.

Any good advice?

I got the HD 600 a few days ago (waiting for DAC + AMP to get delivered) + Random 10€ mic = awesome

My old HD 555 (150€) are quite nice as well :) I Would recommend HD 555 + random mic

How much did you for the HD 600? It's from sennheiser right? And what is DAC+AMP :)?

I've been thinking about buying a headset + random mic cause i'll probably get better sound out of it for the same price.

that HD555 were pretty expensive, I remember buying HD595 for around 148e more than 3 years ago

oh well I have no idea.. maybe they have been cheaper :) But I browsed some website a few days ago and found them for ~150€.

Btw it seems like the customs caught my NFB 12.1 :(

I don't recommend HD 555. Sure they are great but they are not produced anymore so you can't switch to a new one if they break.

break? I have mine for 3-4 years, dropped them 7800 times from the table. If everything gets damaged you just re-order the parts and follow the repairing guide.

Technically you're right, but have you seen the prices for sennheiser spare parts? Some time ago I thought about getting new ear cushions for my HD555: they cost ~50EUR! I paid ~80EUR for the headphones :/

I've got siberia v2 with the usb soundcard, pretty good sound quality and definitely worth buying if you want something under 100e (paid 70e for mine). On the other side I've heard that it might break fairly easily.
