HD 600 on my desk (pics)

Today I finally "finished my desktop". I received the Sennheiser HD 600's already a few days ago but had to wait until today to finally receive the DAC/AMP.

The sound quality is soooo fucking awesome compared to my old HD 555 (in the backround on my little Elvis head).

Laptop: Malibal/Clevo P170HM ( specs + my review)
Keyboard: Filco Majestouch 2 Tenkeyless (MX Brown switches + O-Ring Mod) Mini Otaku
Mousepad: Puretrak Talent
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder
DAC/AMP: Audio-GD NFB 12.1
Headphones: Sennheiser HD 600
2nd screen: Random Samsung FullHD LED

And hopefully tomorrow I will buy my Triumph Daytona 675 in Yellow Scorched ;P

Somewhere in Austria (like 300-400 km far away). 2006, 15k kilometers + big service done. No damages/crashes/racing for ~6000€.

well usually on my table there is only my external hd, keyboard, mouse and screen ofc, and still there is plenty of space :p sorry cant take picture no camera!

I think my problem already starts with the laptop. Having all cable on the table as they connect to the laptop instead of going below the table connecting to some pc :S

Anyway I like my desk <3

I really love the setup. I only wonder if the bass is too much for playing ET. Also: Do you have any problems with the NFB 12.1 getting hot when using it for like 8-12 hours?

i dont have the same audio-gd combo, but i guess its normal it gets hot
yeah, i dont think these headphones are that good in gaming its kinda hard to hear directions, unlike with hd555 for example

tbh I head directions a lot better than with my HD555. Atleast in Quakelive it feels like that. but I am afraid that the bass is overwhelming everything :P Will have to find out ;)

once you use a receiver / amp sounds are way better , i prefer physical buttons over digital or sound cards it's not the same..you never see a recording studio with a fatality sound card .....

I agree... switching on my laptop from HD555 to HD600 was a difference (not to mention listening to them on my stereo amp). But now with the DAC/AMP the HD600 are again in a whole new different level.
