for editable transitions (not live) you can do this with ableton live or afaik with kool edit

Basically, I want to compile a load of songs together and play them one after each other (like a podcast). I'd like the transition between songs to be half decent too.

i use ableton (more for producing) but for simple transitions i would choose traktor or virtual dj for beginner

i guess hes more looking into something where he can do transitions with envelopes and such, not really like djing so i guess only ableton will do :>
