Cf4 short feedback

Hoi,

didn't really notice where to post this so I make a small journal about that. Did a small review ( my pov) of what's "wrong"/could be better on the website.

Bad points


Right pannel


The idea is really nice, but the position of the ad is bad in my opinion, although you clearly separate the animated Recenet/events pannel from the forum sections I still find it unapropriated to put it here aswell as the google research, but I read this google search bar is temporary ? :



Layout



I think the layout lacks of something such as a grey bar/background, for instance u could let eery comment with a white bg, and the overall bg could remain grey. Coz at the moment, it feels poor.

movie section



the overall rate should be different from the other ratings, as it's the average maybe a bigger one, or a different colour could help to notice it easier.


News



i think the tool Oldest isn't rly necessary, assuming there will be a search options, can't you integrate this feature in it? Especialy its position, actualy the best way would be to put Newest - Main News - Other News and why not popular.

Titles



Titles are way too big compared to their contents, I mean it's like 3x or 4x bigger, and with a white bg it's even more flashy. In addition to that, italic and a weird font doesn't help.

• Could we be able to set the amount of journals/forum posts per column ?
  
• Tags aren't working perfectly, I wanted to hife ETQW which made me see only 2 journals
  
• Profil pictures/avatar added on the comment is screwed ( flag ftw)

• Once the journal edited, i got redirected on a blank page
  
• General Error is invading le website
  

Good points

• The design is actualy nice, having a fresh and new way to browse isn't bad, it's getting close to today's social networks websites but it actualy helps to find ourselves out on the site.
  
• the animated box with events Recent and Polls is cool too, for instance, back then on cf3 cup section was not rly attractive, now it's a bit more flashy.
  
• The feature " stick the navigation bar to the top page" is really great.
  
• Notifications are cool too, but if you happen to be spammed it can be really painful.
  

Basicaly a nice new website, thanks and congratulations to the staff for its work, you did well, but there are still a few fixes to be applied. Once again, that's my point of view.
