RTCW on Steam - mods allowed?

So I want to buy RTCW on steam, I don't want to use a RTCW 2012 pack that is flying around at the moment because I like the single player / like to own my games.

My question is can mods be installed on it

do I even need it for multiplayer or can I play with this key-creater on all servers now?

Well the multiplayer was available for free ages ago if I remember correctly.

but it said no valid cd key on some servers :S think I read you could create your own cd key recently though..
the game isn't available in germany, might tell a mate to buy it for me during that special offer if I still need a legit game :d

Why its not available in Germany, again this 18+ law thingy like they did with Call of Duty?

no, guess too many swastikas^^ but no idea, can't find it on ebay, amazon and it says not available in de on steam

use the keygen included in the 2012 pack. Basicly its just a ET key generator, but it generates legit cd keys for rtcw aswel.l cheers
