Epic-9 Lan Review (pics n stuff)

So folks, good afternoon.

I thought as some of you do seem to enjoy CoD4 i would give you a little bit of a taste of Epic-9. I will make sure VoDs are edited and updated on here as i casted the event with the legend that is Deman working with QuadV which was utterly amazing. So back to the actual event, Epic lan has been a pretty much smaller version of what I-series has become but with a great prize pot and a good team of admins who understand the community.

For a social event its pretty much perfect, good bar, good people and a great atmosphere

For CoD4 its pretty much on its last legs event wise, im not the first to say it but i finally agree and what a way to end my run for casting it. Basically we had some of the best teams attending who are still acting (in mixes or full teams) the likes of phantasmagoria made it with apex and PLZFANKU (revoltz,skier,stephen etcetc)

So the event prize purse was pretty decent and entrance pretty cheap

£1,200 - 5x Shock One Headsets - 5x epic.TEN lan tickets

£600 - 5x Theron Mice - 5x £20 epic.TEN vouchers

£200 - 5x Challenger Keyboards - 5x £10 epic.TEN vouchers

So basically me and Deman arrive to jump straight into the first game we saw that was Phantasmagoria vs HIGHJ!NX.e9 now on paper that should be a walk in the park for Phan but we saw a early upset.... check out le' vod!

Then after that i sorted out the damn config and carried on casting for the rest of the day but every game seemed so good, so many individual moments of brilliance.

So first day down, we chilled drank a wee too much whisky and got back to the usual happenings of LAN at least for me anyway which is slightly over sleeping and running in the next morning without any coffee looking nice n rough. Once again the games didnt let us down hopefully the Vods will be up later today of the rest of the games but they were all stunners. Watching Apex have to claw their way out of the Lower Bracket was pretty impressive after being lamed there by turning up so late as Mark couldnt wake up in time.
