1000hz

Hello guys ,

i got a problem to change Hz , on mine mx518

i got windows vistas SP3 and i use the hidusbf to change to 1000hz , i can't ither use 500 hz :s
i have used this guide as well

but it don't work... i guess that only works for douse who use sp1 /2 , well anyway the point is i want 1000hz but it wont work ..so if any of you guys know how to , or if there is any ather way to change 1000hz , then plz dont be shy to comment :p

When I had Logitech G5 (which is similar to 518) I used Logitech Setpoint to change it to 1000hz(on vista)

o 2giej pekowałem, do 3ciej i po tym komentarzu spać poszedłem lol :P mass pvp było na hs i wpierdol dostawaliśmy bo tamten klan 4 deski na frenzy miał

don't use 1000Hz on Mx518, use 500 and even if you was to get 1000hz it will be so coincident that just might as well use 500hz

yeah I encountered the same problem, nothing worked for me so I bought xai and all is good again.

and btw, use 500hz max in mx518 since it doesnt get more than stable 500hz... even 125hz stable is better than 1000hz unstable... word! Had a mx518 myself.

Setpoint has to be uninstalled for the hz changer to work.

get g400, same shape, better software - can change hz directly in the drivers rather then fucking around. Helps especially in w7

I've got g400 for like one year. Never installed drivers since the mouse worked great without. Does g400 use SetPoint or it has some other program?

as said, its called "Logitech Gaming Software"

really nice simple and effective software - probably best Ive seen just because it gets shit done quickly and easily ;)
