Didn't you upload like a video of your new house/appartment a few months ago?

Good luck though, what are you going to work for?
y i did. A merchandising company recruited me for now but I may be hired by Apple later on.
Thank you, I'll definitely make good use out of that.

Dubstep and Drum and bass are not that popular here. Dundalk aint a bad town. Maybe me, you and Rhand can have a mini lan
in that case I'm taking my tower with me! :D
Parent
I don't play games any longer!

But you can play while I drink and make stupid jokes.

What kinda job?
phone call company / support / customer service /

is there any else job in ireland that ppl go for?
Parent
Why would people move to Ireland just to have that kind of job?
I mean you can find the same in your homecountry rite?
Parent
u actually cant in some cases, most of the big companies that employ alot ppl have offices in those places
Parent
miNd is right! There's nothing else to do over there it's just for my CV, money and a bit of experience.
Parent
In Belgium there are alot of vacancies for jobs like that. I'd not go for smth like that to Ireland. Or it should have to pay much better wich I highly doubt :).
Parent
Ive never been in an english speaking country its always been a dream so Ireland is as perfect as it can get and I'll be touting tickets in London sometimes aswell.
Parent
but in belgium u have no big international companies like they do in ireland for example, it looks nice on CV and its good experience etc etc
Parent
like we have no big international companies here -_-

Even in the IT branch microsoft, cisco, etc... all have a quite big branch here aswell.
Parent
Ofcourse u have big companies over there, but thats not what i ment.

HP customer support for example is pretty much located on Ireland and have their only support center they have basicly there etc etc and thus ppl who wanna work there go to ireland cause of that etc etc, thats what i ment.
Parent
bruxelles is plenty of big lobbys man, wat are you talking about?
Parent
We don't live in wooden trees
Parent
Quotephone call company / support / customer service /

name me one multi million businnes company that has a support / customer service located in belgium

thats what i ment since thats what im talking about here, i sure couldve written it better but was being lazy.
Parent
Telenet
Belgacom

here are two
Parent
aight, u have them.

anyway this is what i meant

international

big companies

-,-'''''

IM NOT SAYING BELGIUM DOESNT HAVE BIG COMPANIES AND INTERNATIONAL ONES, IM SAYING THAT THERE ARE COUPLE COUNTRYS / CITYS THAT ALOT BIG INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES PUT THEIR SUPPORT CENTERS ON AND THUS WHY PPL GO FOR WORK THERE
Parent
Well you do have a point. At the end of the day London's GDP is higher than all of Belgium combined.
Parent
Actually Ireland does have a ridiculously high minimum wage. Part of the reason that they were one of the first countries to ask for a bailout. Never understood why people would want to go to Ireland. The Irish are generally ill educated pricks, and it is by far and away the worst country in the world for women. Seriously, Irish girls make Scottish girls look like Colombian supermodels.
Parent
What's the minimum bruto wage?
Parent
About 8.65 euros per hour, but I think that has gone down by a euro due to the banking crisis, so may have used to be 9.65 euros. Which is high compared to the UK's 5.85 pounds per hour.
Parent
I'd not get out my house for such wage :D
Parent
Haha beggars can't be choosers!
Parent
have business trip in Dublin in few months, cu there !
Welcome to Ireland ;-)

Make sure to pack a rainsuit!

What kind of job will you do?
Aww rain?
I have the best rain jacket ever existed but I thought it would be warm :(
Parent
Warm and Ireland does not compute. Think the warmest we had this year was 22° or something, lol.
Parent
oh snap. It'll work out somehow i guess :)
My current boss keeps telling me I shouldn't move and that the Irish hate everyone from Middle Europe. I figured he just had bad experience somewhere as he doesn't speak a word of english can't even say hello x)
Irish guys are cool over here but would you say that you like foreigners at home or do you just "accept" em?
Parent
I'm not Irish, I'm Belgian ;-)

Can only say that after 10 months here, I still don't have any real Irish friend.
Parent
except for that my team is German <3
