I would rather do something a bit more interesting. Do you not think for a second that old contributors have been put off a little since this CF4? The content recently is balls.

Well i am not sure, personally i don't see anything wrong with current CF. There is room for some fixs and extra features/improvements, BUT it's not a big deal at the current state.

I can blame the contributors by the same way i blame the inactivity... It's summer, people have something better to do! At September / October i believe the activity will improve as it always happens!

Look at CF comparing to summer. Lots of news and more coverage. Old people even returned. Look at teams, there is still plenty, considering the bad times....

That's just super recent; and it's from the admins' side.
If there were stats about the journal/overall comments activity, you'll definitely see a HUGE difference.
