Minecraft - Clanwar?

Hey crossies,

just checked the Clanbase page and saw that they have added a Minecraft ladder. WTF? I thought it is all about crafting ;)
Since when are you able to do clanwars? and what is the goal?

there are MP server plugins that allow people to settle and register towns, grow those into empies and then declare war on other factions.

PVP 1v1 or 2v2 battle + assault the castle(usually 4v4, cool to watch) + something like catch the flag (saw some 10v10) + special things like hungergames
