Hello dear people :)
I plan on purchasing a new laptop at the end of this month. I've been doing some research on the tweakers website and some other sites, trying to find the best possible laptop thati s within my pricerange.
Unfortunately, my hardware knowledge is not very extended so I was hoping you could help me out a little.
So basically the question comes down to:
What is the best laptop I can get for 800-850 euros?
I have no preferences when it comes to brands but I would prefer a laptop that is 17,3" since I have positive experiences with that. I will use the laptop for gaming, downloading, school, some video editing etc.
Do not mention the words crapbook or apple in this journal please.
Thank you in advance!

My ASUS arrived yesterday, it has a decent i5-cpu (3rd gen) and a NVIDIA 630m GPU and from the first impression I'm quite pleased

Apart from the shitty position of speakers, N7520 is fucking awesome. I also got it for a huge discount since I bought it from where I work. I work at a laptop shop, we only sell laptops. So if you need to do some video editing and want to play some games, forget about Lenovo. Lenovos in your price range don't come with what you need. I would go for a home solution dell, or a version of an Asus laptop.
If you need any more specific information, you can always ask me :)
It's not full HD, but I was planning on buying a bigger screen to hook it up to in a few months anyway. And I don´t really know if toshiba is any good compared to other brands..
this one is great for the price
gt650m with ddr5!!
7200rpm hdd!!
+ http://geizhals.at/de/800082 as upgrade to 8gb ram ;)
too bad that this company is mainly only on the german market ;(
i would prefer a good screen, gpu first because you can easily upgrade the ssd if you want it later ;)
i recon you go for 900/1000 euro then you'll get an higher performance rate (imo the range is 400/500 office work -> 600/700 multimedia -> 900/1000 games -> 1300/1400 heavy games -> 1500+ waste of money games
