And thats because let's be honest, a million gbp isn't much. Half of it or more will go on the apartment.

buy my parents a nice house (not expensive in turkey... max 100.000 eu)
buy myself some stuff: new pc, new laptop, new tabletpc, new camera, dj equipement, clothes, holidays, car, etc.
I'd invest half the rest of my money for my career after i finished studying. Maybe something like a big sports/cocktailbar

nothing much rly, save/invest, so I won't have to worry much bout future, donate whatever I don't need when I had a secure job, maybe get in a private university
or just leave to a sunny (low income) country, buy beach bar & enjoy life

material possessions, a nice house, a nice car (maybe an r8 or something) nice clothes, an expensive watch. That stuff would be my initial spending, then obviously later I would use it more wisely :P

then all sorts of material things. wouldnt go too crazy here, as i dont care enough about a fancy car etc. combined with it making sense to invest good portion of the money
also lots of traveling and staying longer times abroad

i dont think that money would change my life all that much tbh, nor would it even be all that evident that im fairly wealthy

1m... well the prices for flats/apartments in the street where I live right now have decreased a lot.

1 flat = 990.000€ .. dropped buy about 500.000€ .. so cheap must buy asap !

No seriously.. I would buy a penthouse somewhere here in Vienna but not for 990.000€.
Or I would spend the whole 1m if there really was a "dream location" for my "dream house" but that doesnt seem to exist anyway :(

I would save the rest of the money or invest it into smth.. e.g. buying a few "cheap flats" and renting them. 4-5 flats with each 600-700€ rent per month -> never work again ?
