ET teams sponsoring lan???? Que?

ET:
12 sign ups (72 players) = 12x260£ = 3120£
-> prizepool 1020£

QL Duel:
16 sign ups (16 players) = 16x45£ = 720£
-> prizepool 3000£

QL TDM:
8 sign ups (32 players) = 8x 200£ = 1600£
-> prizepool 4000£

Seems that ET players are sponsoring this lan!!! gg

:D

funny shit
Is that really the ET prizepool? wtf.
nice....................
With this trend, I expect a lot of frostbites and adlernests during the groupstage just to get the schedule rolling so pc's are cleared up for quake players :D
1st round - best of 1 adler
2nd round - best of 1 deli
3rd round - best of 1 frost
4th round - best of 1 braun
Parent
like last androits lan where frost, adler, frost was forced ( in playoffs )
Parent
that was only as decider though I think - each team picked a map each initially?
Parent
yes your're right i got that wrong, but every enemy we played against took frost or adler as their map so in the end we played adler and frost each like 4 or 5 times :p
Parent
haha :/

I guessed it sucked more for your team as they were the least pracced.
Parent
gg etprizepool :Dd
Adroits maffia? Discuss.
Obviously there should be a registration fee, but surely not this much? Have you got entry fee's correct?
© twidi

so yes
Parent
well those are the numbers from Adroits website and I just fastly put them together so there could be some mistakes and I didn't include the early bird ticket prices etc, which would affect the numbers a bit
Parent
Don't think they would as they lowered the standard ticket prizes after the early bird tickets didn't even sell fast and the normal tickets looked like weren't gonna sell at all.
Parent
ET player's paying less per player.
260/6=43,30 pound for ET
QL Single = 45 pound for QL
200/4=50 pound for QL team

Prizepool difference: 6.000 pound

Thats not a fair calculation
Parent
48 ql players paying 2320, 48/player
72 ET players paying 3120, 43/player
48 QL players receiving 7000£ in prize money -> 145,8£ / player
72 ET players receiving 1020£ in prize money -> 14,2£ / player

ET players paying 43£/player and receiving 14,2£/player -> prize money is 33% of what they paid
QL players paying 48£/player and receiving 145,8£/player -> prize money is 304% of what they paid
Parent
maybe all of the entrance fees has gone into Adroits to organize this LAN, and the prizepool has been sponsored?

Or is all the prizemoney put together with the entrance fee?
Parent
You would have to ask Seanza about that. I would guess that all the ET's prize money is coming from the sign ups and with QL there is additional money from sponsors.

Oh and I just remembered that there was a donating option for both ET and QL tournaments so it could be that QL got additional prize money from there too, but I highly doubt that the donations would've reached 4 figures.
Parent
don't be like that! ql players wouldn't come if they couldn't get anything :3
Parent
LOL, there _has to be_ some mistake. Doesn't make sense at all.
1st £600 + 6x SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset
2nd £270 + 6x SteelSeries Kana Gaming Mouse
3rd £150 + 6x SteelSeries QCK Mouse Surface
4th 6x SteelSeries QCK Mouse Surface
Parent
Yea, I saw those. But QL has those additional ones too.

Ofc there might be something coming from QL-side too (sponsors & partners), but now it just seems like a butt-thingie for ET. Well, not my concern, even if I were going :)
Parent
r0ss and boys prolly went knowing they will get travel money back but now they wont get it back lol :d 100£ for each isnt much :(
Parent
