how is it possible to stream et/rtcw, with what program? i just cant setup windowed mode and on dxtory it gives me gray screen

open brodacaster software,much better than xsplit + its free...better audio and possible to stream on any resolution(xsplit is capped to 720p unless you pay and has SHIT audio)...also OBS stresses cpu less

In Xsplit:
Add
Screen region
Select your screen region (ie. where the ET window is)
Maximise it on your stage (ie. the Xsplit preview screen)

i always get problem that when i do lower res than in windows it doesnt go stretched or tiled, i mean over the full screen.it shows that res in sort of window but i have fullscreen on...

Untick the box in options that says 'Keep aspect ratio' - You need to right-click the item in your Xsplit box (Below the stage)

it's not xsplit related, more a problem that occurs in windows/ET itself...even if i wanted to play with custom res it doesnt make it fullscreen but exactly the size of resolution set(and there are no window borders like when u turn off fullscreen)...think its some bug i had before but cant remember how to fix it again, probably some command in ET that is fucking it up...ll try to play with it someday


btw dxtory works just fine with rtcw and etmain but in etpro it stops working after it gets Awaiting gamestate... before joining game.

oh and also try to use OpenBroadCasterSoftware, much better than xsplit,free & less cpu intensive

hm ye i guess running as admin fix this prob with fullscreen.but are you sure u can stream when game is in fullscreen mode without xsplit gamecapture or dxtory? dont you get gray screen

I didn't say you can stream fullscreen. I know that you can't do it fullscreen. You have to make it windowed mode.
