EC is not interesting anymore. There are no teams anymore which keep the same for a longer time. You can't chose a fav team anymore to fanboy. The one half of the team you like can be playing with a other team you dont like at all the next week.

And there are no interesting news post, articles or interviews anymore. You need to check the CB page now to follow the EC fully. Which I simply don't because I don't play ET that active anymore. And watching ETTV without shoutcast just feels boring now (I could enjoy it 3 years ago).
