iPhone 5 problem

THE ALUMINIUM BACK IS SO SHIT

Ran into the table yesterday and now I have dent on the backside.

My - button is blocked so I can't listen to music anymore. Also as you can see on the right side, the alu back slightly moved so my screen comes out a bit, that's why it's bent like that.

Went to phone shops but they don't want to fix it, went to the apple retailer and they said 'apple doesn't repair such things, just use your guarantee and buy a new one for about 300€'

BUT EVERYTHING ELSE STILL WORKS SO I DON'T WANT TO BUY A NEW ONE

Should I open it myself and try to get the dent out? Anyone who has experience with dissambling an iPhone (5)?

Or I'm looking for something like this:

Because the volume pop up thing annoys me

I sense someone got iphone for christmas present. I wonder who in the earth is so sadistic to give a present like that?
no, already have it for 2 months. Would be awful after 1 day, still is after 2 months

break it even more so they finaly repair it

hehehe
There are lots of little shops that can fix that, like when i totally shattered my screen and it was falling off, apple wouldnt fix it and this other place would. You should try to find one of those shops
I wouldnt open it myself as you lose your warranty.
Either get along with it try to put more pressure on the shops, I had that with my iphone 4, they wouldnt want to repair a minor issue but I just went there again and said that warranty applies for such stuff and after an hour of talking to them they repaired it.
as I said 3 comments below, no apple stores here, so I'll have to go to a small retail fixer.. guess waranty will always be voided or I'll have to pay 300€

burn it with fire
the best thing you can do is to go to the apple store and ask for assistance. the most common and simple thing. And don t listen to apple haters, anybody hating on apple, actually hates that he can t afford to buy it. Pretty simple
problem is that there aren't any apple stores in Belgium.. So I would have to send it back via the store I bought it from and they only send new ones back for 300€, but don't want that..

and true that
Parent
You did not bought it from Belgium?
Parent
I did, but from a mobistar shop (a provider in BE).. they send it to Apple to get it fixed, but afaik they don't fix it but give new ones for less money, but gotta pay 300€ then fosho, had a similar problem with my iPhone 4

Is fucked up. I don t get it how the warranty works in this case. I mean if is not your fault that the button got stucked, and the product is in waranty, the shop needs to take care of the problem
Parent
It is since I ran into the table, don't think the waranty will cover that
Parent
Oh, that s new piece of info. Well if there are oppulent signs of deterioration on the button, yea that could be a problem. If not, try lie :)

Parent
Nieuwstraat 123, Mac Line :)
Parent
kzal is gaan zien, merci

ma tzou mij verwondere da ze diene daar gaan willen openmaken ipv terug opsturen
Parent
Parent
ok ja das waar :p

bullshit, most of those who "hates" Apple are feeling this way because they actually know something about hardware. I can afford Apple products, I chose never to touch it. I don't like Apple for their patent policy and marketing strategy. Same goes for Beats in headphones department, same bullshit over there.
Parent
You whine over marketing? They all have + and - when it comes about sales. Nobody is perfect. But Apple had establish a brand and a certain line of quality, and say what ever you want but Steve Jobs was a genius
Parent
Steve Jobs wasn't a genius, he was just good at pestering companies and marketing bullshit. Steve Wozniak is the genius.

21 st century nerds need to approve themself in order to gain selfconfidence. thumbs down

This is your way of starting a conversation? Screw you

if you have an iPhone 5, you're a faggot.
op de grond gooien en hopen
2 options, pay the Apple price or go to a local phone stores which does repairs too (small shops which sell lots of accessoires and used phones). If you go for the second option you will lose your warranty but it will be a lot cheaper.

EDIT: opening it yourself and ordering parts from the internet is also a option. But only do this if you are confident enough you can do it and search a good manual on the internet. Some phones are a bitch to open and close again, you might need some patience also.
Rename thread to "Why you shouldn't buy Apple products".
Shouldve got a better phone bro
