Dublin !!

just drink? what else there is to do there? :D

Well, stay away from Dublin. I'm having the best time of my life here, but if it's only for a few days you can have more fun in pretty much every other capital in Europe.

Dublin is very expensive to go out, the bars close very early and after 22h no alcohol can be bought anymore in shops and the likes.

Cultural wise there's nothing really special to visit, you could visit some nice landscapes (just north of Dublin there's Howth, south of Dublin you have Bray/Greystones and Wicklow).

If you come here, visit Temple Bar but only drink there during the day or not at all. Probably the most expensive pubs in all of Ireland. There's some clubs around the center, but in my opinion they are not THAT special, although they are good fun with your friends and there's always nice girls to be found.

Better clubs around town (in my opinion): Alchemy, Dandelion, Howl at the Moon, the Palace, The Church
There's some nice pubs on Dames Street and South Great George's Street like Sweeneys, The Mercantile, Whelan's, etc.
The Czech Inn is also pretty cool.
