Actually it's €19.95, but that's not the point I made this journal. I know there are a lot of players who have bought the game and are not playing anymore, so why not share their account with someone who want's to play. I will probably play this game for a few weeks so I find it's not worth to buy.

once you get/buy your account tho you should however insist to not play tekkit. the only reason people would do that is cause they are retarded yogscast fanbois. it is on an outdated version of MC, it does not have the modders support, it does not even have half the mods of the 1.4.6 packs on FTB and it has the awefully broken (unbalanced) EquivalentExchange2 that makes playing obsolete after about 7 hours. FTB on the other hand is on the lastest MC version and has the most recent version of all the mods, including the reworked equivalent exchange 3, thaumcraft 3, the new redpower, buildcraft 3 and so on.
tl;dr:
buy account nup and dont play tekkit like mongrel
dw20 got more mods. thaumcraft3 for example will calvulae flux and vis auras at every time, all around you.
people having lagg issues with dw20 should buy a better PC.
the FTB 1.4.2 BETA-A will not be updated any further. At some point there will be a new official FTB pack but as it includes world-gen porting your old world is not advised. You can just start with the DW20 pack as it will be updated thorughout his SP series.
Thanks! I ported my world from FTB beta to DW20 because we only just started over and already made some big structures, shouldn't be missing out on a lot right? Or am I missing all the new mods now? I'm always rather unsure which ones need to be generated with a new world and which ones don't.
well they keep the item IDs consistent over the mods. so blocks you placed should not suddenly become different blocks. however you are missing all the new worldgen.
Uselesscraft (xycraft) doesnt rly matter all to much but you are lacking thaumcraft aura nodes and its worldgen. also there is no gregtech in dw20 but that shouldnt matter all too much if you just started (as its an end-game mod).
what you should do is load the world into MCedit and reflag the chuncks below surface level (below 64 if im not mistaken) to repopulate. that should spawn a new distribution of ores.
also your server admin should alter the thermal expansion config (which controlls most of the worldgen) and add another 5-10 layers of dephts and around 5-10% more frequency to the copper spawn. its a little unbalanced imo
the easiest thing to do is just start a new world. it will give you all the new worldgen, there wont be any ID conflicts and you get the Thermal Expansion world gen config.
It's just me and my cousins mostly (sometimes friends aswell), so I'm the server admin. I'm rather casual with it, but I guess I could figure out how to do most of what you just said. But we just finished a big underground cave and a 300 tracks long rollercoaster, so I don't feel like starting over again :D
I might try to use MCedit then to make sure thaumcraft works, but I guess it's not loss if it doesn't work. Thanks a lot of the info, first time I'm running a server with mods on it. We've played a few worlds before, but this is the first non-vanilla one so things are rather confusing :p
well you cant be all too confused seeing that you got into railcraft and i believe that in the more recent versions a buildcraft power net is required for the rolling machine.

all new chunks you generate will have all the world-gen you need.
so get into mystcraft, write a stable age and setup a portal nexus. then you can link even far away places in the overworld and use the new world-gen without losing the old stuff.
1.4.2 pack is discontinued.
I log on to a 1.4.6 server every now and then but atm im waiting for new additions/updates as ive already tinkered with the stuff thats currently included.
