Internet connection - Laptop

got a little problem with my dad's laptop, always getting limited internet access or no access (the yellow /!\ thingy)
running win7, already tried disabling wirefall etc, tried to turn off modem/router, turning off TCPIP/6 in network config, network card drivers are up2date
Can't connect to wifi nor LAN
any suggestions?

u have some mobile internet plugged in ?
have u deactivated/reactivated wireless card ?
have any antivirus or installed one recently ?
got internet on my main pc with LAN so it's definitely not the network itself
something must have changed
Right-click on the wireless icon
Click "Open Network and Sharing Center"
Click "Manage wireless networks" at the top right corner
Then just remove them all
Once you do that, disable then enable the laptop's wireless card and search for the network.
if u know or have a way to find the wireless password then
do it

once a day all my computers got kicked from my network. After some searching it seems that my retarded router gave the same IP adress to multiple machines wich caused an error and gave the /!\ .
Hard reset on the router did it for me.

If my sister & me have the same Local IP then one of us will be kicked out of the network.
So make sure that you're dads laptop has his own Local IP like the rest in the house.
