TL;DR version: LAN 13 - 15 February (14 feb = ET) , Belgium, ROCCAT sponsered prizes (more prizes to be announced soon).

Super awesome long version:
ROOM 1:
This Lan includes COD4, CSS, Warcraft 3, W:Enemy territory.
FREE entrance, it's in a high tech youth club so there's a bar + food etc etc...
BYOC // 3o3 Team format (to low intrest for ET so 3o3).
ET Competition starts 14 feb, 20:00
SIGN-UP: PM me ( i'll give you the contact info of the organisation) send an e mail with Team name + Full name of players+ wich game

nope only an event on Facebook, but it's made private since there will be pirated games/ movies and they don't care bout paying for a license.

Don't expect a pro lan, it's nothing fancy. Just for fun :)

there's a cinema room, in Belgium you have to pay SABAM to show movies to the public. They don't want to pay that. As far as the LAN goes everything is legit :)

Just a quick question. Are you planning on having an internet connection able to hold that amount of PC's? Also, I presume you are going to have a dedicated server at the event. Do you have anyone capable of configuring a decent ET setup?

i'm not in the organisation of the event, But as far as i know the technical stuff is arranged by a computer store (that will also sponsor some extra prizes).

EDIT: they can always use a pro to help them ofcourse if u are interested ? :D

there are some hotels in the cities next to it but i'm pretty sure i can fix you some places to stay (better then the power nap room provided).

i live 5 minutes from the LAN

It's pretty easy to get to from Dunkirk France so it's deffo an option for UK players if they are interested enough.

It's an excuse to leave the country on the cheap and have a few beers. I only went to main land europe 4 times last year and once outside europe so this year I expect more reasons to go away. Haven't booked anything for the next 3 months so would be nice to have a plan to go away.

I am sure if you decided to have a LAN with a bigger game (quake/cod) You could have a small ET event where the entrance is super low (making prize pot minimal) or something youd get 10 teams.

Yeah it's no problem stuffing a 24 inch monitor and a big computer with all accessories to a bag only to find out that they're broken when you collect your baggage.

Or the alternative, driving 2,000km.

LAN ET event should be sticky topic btw imo :X or maybe you can make an event topic so everyone can see it till February. If only 5 teams will come I am still not so sure if I will go :p

Also, it will start 14-02 20:00, but do we still have the possibility to play on 15th? Even if the "official ET tournament" is finished on 14th already ?

yes! Free gaming untill 15th of february. (there is enough room in the building so you can play ET untill the LAN ends :p )

The LAN starts 13th so you could even organise a non official ET tournament 3 days long :p
