Seeing as everyone is posting food on here, thought I'd add mine too. Beats waiting around for Thomm to post his!
Prepare food
Sweet potato after cut
Brown the meat in a pan over medium heat for around 10 mins, prepare the beef bouillon in another.
Put them in a pot together
Add the onions, pepper and bay leaf then put the lid on and leave it to simmer for 2 hours
Add the potatoes, carrots and cabbage to the stew and leave for a further 35 minutes. If using sweet potato put that in a little later.

Finally put in the tomato sauce with a little salt and leave to simmer without the lid for 15 minutes and serve!
With those ingredients it would serve around 8 people. Perfect winter meal :)))
