Crossfire 4.649

Just released CF4.649 ( just 17 more releases till I have to inform Robaciek )

- Comment field isn't as fugly anymore
- Buttons now have readable text and you no longer need a microscope to read them
- Added a warning to the contribute editor so people stop posting Journals as News items
- Added a flag icon for El Salvador

If you are experiencing issues with the display of the comment field you should refresh the website and everything should be fine.

Doesn't look like we're currently tracking those, so the ones you got from cf3 will be lost unless I import those ( which could take quite a while since the database of CF is Bigggggg )

The amount of time spend by developers to code new features is often greatly underestimated. Take that stepping button with "Edit | Settings" on your profile for instance, I spend 3 hours working on that.. the base of it all was quite simple but getting the style to be just right took a bit. Every single pixel of it has been worked on, the padding is perfect, the border color is the exact right color same goes for the hover etc..

You're 100% wrong, all visits are counted - there's just no frontend for it. Numbers were also imported from cf3 so as soon as there's a frontend for it it'll be like it was never gone.

What browser are you using? Judging from the lack of Gradients a pretty old version of either Firefox or IE?

I still think its caching, chrome is just a bitch like this.. you can reset your browser somewhere in the menu where you can only tick "Caches" so you don't lose all your logins n such.. I can't really say what would be going wrong apart from this.

is there a way to "sticky" important stuff for the search engine since its so completely useless atm?
just imagine people comming on here and searching "how to install ET". They wouldnt find shit and quite honstely if cF cant help people get into ET i dont see the point of it anymore.

I've noticed that ever since cf 4 was released the site got much heavier to load, and especially today it has been lagging even on my desktop (maybe you're updating shit, dno)

If I try loading it with my mobile phone, it's just piss-shit awful.

Any possibility to make it a tad lighter?

Well there is a lot of stuff going on in the background, I can fix this.. but then again, there are a few other things I should fix first ( especially since we don't have a mobile version ). Might be able to do this some time later.
