Graphics card problem

Hi there, I wanted to play some ET again after buying a new gfx card.

But now ET shows me an error: image: cax2sqp996syrdxu6

I have already tried to install older drivers as well as the latest ones.

I also tried to change some settings in the Nvidia panel, without having any success.

Now I hope that there is someone left on this site who could help me out.

delete seta r_lastValidRenderer "your old card" in your config.

should be there. did you look into the right config? the etconfig.cfg in your etpro/profiles/yourname folder, not your autoexec files or smth...

ye and to be sure, i just deleted ET and made a new installation-- i really dont know what to try next

found it in the standard one,deleted it, still the same

then it's usually a driver problem...try other opengl games like quake or rtcw if you get the same error.

try new ET install and try to run it with the default config first.. to rule out config errors

1.
- Go on ETMAIN folder -> PROFILES, open ur profile and delete the file "ETCONFIG.cfg"
- Go on ETPRO folder -> PROFILES open ur profile and delete the file "ETCONFIG.cfg"

2.
- If you dont have a file on etmain called "autoexec.cfg" create one
- Add on "autoexec.cfg" the following commands:
- seta r_mode "-1"
- seta r_customwidth "1024"
- seta r_customheight "768"

3.
- Delete from your cfg or autoexec.cfg the command "r_lastvalidrenderer"

and please never follow advice from people that tells you to put r_mode "-1"

nothing to do with snsz in particular, lots of people in this thread...

Well tried everything possible. I actually think that this card just doesnt support the older openGL versions. No idea how to handle it.

in your ET.exe shortcut open propeties and after +set fs_game etpro add this +set r_mode -1 +set r_customwidth 1024 +set seta r_customheight 768 (your monitor resolution) easy.

I have the same problem on my modification of win7 but I install instal driverr from this website

Can you post the complete Log?

What i can see on the Pic above:

ET can't handle your r-mode and ET is missing some File from the graphic driver.
Maybe you can even post the dxdiag Info about your graphicshit :P
