no viable newssource and I dunno who that athene guy is but reading the comments it seems to be true.

I dunno if there's an option to download movies but please someone with a good connection save all the fragmovies.

We lost too many in the megaupload shutdown already

I'm 'sad' because having 1 main competitor is never a good idea.

I'm glad because own3d was the leading streamer until mid-2012 and they became greedy or something, they fucked up hard somewhere, I mean, they didn't even update their flash player for ages and never even fixed that annoying volume bug, while twitch fixed their shit (extreme lag issues), upgraded site, layout, funcionality etc, own3d did NOTHING, and didn't even pay megaloads to their streamers.

I think Azubu's upcoming streaming service will be able to fill in own3d's spot fairly quickly and with their seemingly strong financial backing will be able to compete with twitch

TosspoT moving from own3d to Twitch was an early sign that "not all is well" at own3d.
