And here is the next update:
- Improves table metadata caching, enhancing the overall performance of the website
- Added a Download ET button using ET-Pack 2011 till some better installer becomes available ( ET-Pack 2011 has horrible configs and set ups, like overwriting autoexec [ which is stupid ] etc. )
Next focus areas ( if time permits ):
- Fix bb-code issues related to user profiles

stuff from 2008 there. success
The need for a new installer is high though, new users won't understand about r_mode -1 and how to get FullHD support. And why would they have to.. its ridiculous that the installer doesn't do this by itself ( and by that I do not mean asking, just detecting and doing ).
for example
Even though it is fairly obvious that Crossfire is mostly an ET only community, we do not really offer anything in the form of starting guides and such nor are we actually advertising ET on the homepage of some sort. This means that I do not believe that something like moving the Download ET button to the header and making it bigger would suffice, I think Crossfire can be of a greater help than that and maybe we will have some kind of way of doing so in the future.
One suggestion I have is removing some rotator items and really showing the ET logo and getting started or something.. Igor was working on some ET related things but the development on that stopped for some reason I don't know.
thanks,feels better now.
- Fix bb-code, specially when it comes to TABLE usage
- At Profile, it says "Lives in <<Country Flag>>". I would suggest to replace it with the geolocation of the user. Old CF allowed us to know where the user was living. So any user could use the flag they want, but the "Live in" would allow us to know the real flag.
One suggestion: Add recent visitors on profiles!
...so we dont private message zombie users
