Yo, anyone has got this laptop? Or heard anything special/negative about it? They say its gaming laptop so i think its worth to try to ask here on a gaming site. Are you happy that you bought it, with its performance and stufff, everything works fine? Cheers

instead of posting just that, why dont you give a reason for the comment you made? not surprised if its something like "got slow after clicking yes at every install and ending up with 10 toolbars in my browser" :p

I have it, the i7 version with SSD.

Run things like Adobe CS6 package and Video editing software(vegas/powereditor), runs smooth. Best laptop ever owned. Runs BF3 everything maxed out 1080p 60 fps on the larger maps.

Only downsides I have found:
- The GFX is really good but it also gets hot quickly so I bought a laptop cooler with it(if you get it I suggest you do the same)
- The touchpad thingy seems to malfunction sometimes. Doesn't read your finger movements well. This happens(it appears) when the laptop gets very warm. But since I almost always use a mouse its no problem.

Any questions reply :P
With SSD inside and external HDD or with this mSata SSD so you have both disks inside? In case you have both inside, is there any difference (temperature) between having only HDD inside and SSD+HDD inside? Dunno just thinking that if you have an additional disk inside it might getting warm faster.
I'm more thinking about i5, because I don't have enough money for i7, also would rather pay that extra money for SSD instead of i7 in near future :p
I suppose it's getting hot only when you play few hours straight or do some other 'heavy' things? In normal usage as browsing internet etc it's normal? Yea I read about that touchpad, also checked it in the shop and it's pretty weird :D but I guess I'd also use my mouse like 95% of the time, so it's np as you said.
Also how about its screen? Everything looks clear and nice on it? I'm asking because its glossy and read somewhere that its not the best quality screen. Btw do you have HD or FullHD version?
And also about fingerprints, do you really need to clean your laptop often because you will have fingerprints everywhere because of its case? :d
Would you change it to another laptop now, in same prize of course? or its the best option for this moneyz

Most of the laptops overheat or just heat up generally by doing basics, so it would be wise to buy the cooler next to the laptop, u wont regret it and it will help u a lot. As for the fingertips, there's a special liquid/spray, thats meant for laptops/screens, u could buy that, and clean it once per 2-3 weeks, i.e depending on the usage of the laptop itself.

Smth like that would do the work for cleaning.

For cooling pad, make sure if u are buying it, that it has cooler and not just pad itself, something like this

I have both disks inside. And for temperature I honestly haven't checked the temperatures and since I've always had both disk inside I don't know if there is a difference anyway.

During normal browsing/skype/irc that sort of stuff the temperature is good/low. Also during video editing it stays quite average temperature only after like 1/2 hours it starts heating up abit. Only high temperatures I've noticed are during playing games like BF3 on full quality. For ET it also stays around average(goes up a little bit ofcourse but not like BF3). But to keep it decent I use the cooler, helps for like 10-15 degrees depending on which cooler you get(I really recommend it, no matter what laptop you get tbh!).

The screen is great, but yes since it's glossy things like fingerprints are quite easily noticed. But that's just a matter of wiping it with some cloth when you notice it... Or keep your fingers off the screen :P. I have a 1920x1080 so fullHD. The only thing in the cleaning matter that's annoying is that the laptop is dark brown so you can see any bit of dust on it. And since it gets quite warm it can attract alot of dust so that takes the most cleaning effort(i just wipe with a cloth every once in a while).

Would I change it for another laptop now? I'm very happy with the money I spent for this, the only reason why I would get another laptop would be if I could get a white one so the cleaning stuff is less noticable. I'm not going to tell you this is the best laptop out there, ofcourse there are similar ones and personal preference comes along(i5/i7, design, screensize etc), but from my experience with this one, it's worth the money you pay for it.
