Cod4 - Whats happening ?

Hello I wanted to play a game of cod4 and realised #cod4.wars is dead ? Not sure how its possible as it used to be like huge, you would join server and 40 ppl would time within 30 seconds. But now nothing 150 ppl there max ?

Is there a new IRC channel ? or has the game died ?
