An introduction to grime

Hi all, been a few journals for music going around and though I'd post a few links to some big grime songs. Grime is 140bpm UK hip hop (generally London MCs) but not many people know a lot of big dubstep artists use grime artists on their tracks. Anyway, it's going to be a bit of a select crowd that like these songs but if these guys get 1 more fan then it's all good :)

Here's a few links!

Devlin - High Rise
P Money - Single Words
D Double E - Be Like Me
Klashnekoff - It's Murda
Kyza - Fight Klub
JME - 96 Bars of Revenge
Skepta - Blow My Own Trumpet
Dizzee Rascal - Stop Dat
Ghetts - Artillery
Lethal Bizzle - POW 2011
Scorcher - HENCH
Tempa T - Next Hype
Jammer - Leave Me Alone
Joker - Back In the Days
Buggsy - I'm Waiting
Foreign Beggars - Contact
More Fire Crew - Oi
Footsie - Spookfest
Trim - Blood Diamond
Maxsta - Back to Grime
Skittles - Dot2Dot (More hip hop than grime but still worth a link)

So if someone did 150 BPM UK hiphop it wouldn't be grime?
It depends lol, dubstep is typically 140bpm also, but that doesn't mean a 130bpm track can't be dubstep. It's just the "typical" format. Dubstep kinda got some influences from grime back in the days

I've said it before in these kind of journals, but I find those unwritten rules of BPM restrictions quite ridiculous.

It's not a rule, it's a structure :P

Dunno what to say, go to the metal journal and post there :)
