Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is well.
Quick question as I haven't been keeping up to date with hardware industry. My graphics card fried the other day and I am looking for a new one.
My old graphics card is a Nvidia GT8800 - http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Gigabyte-GeForce-8800-GT-GVNX88T512HP/
I don't need the cream of the crop just a card which will allow me to run Photoshop and similar design suites.
Which card is the equivalent to the the one I used to have as I think it is sufficient enough?
Budget from £0 - £100
Thanks in advance
Cheers

In fact, the only place I'd ever consider throwing a HD 77xx in is a HTPC setup where power consumption is of essence, though, given it's bulky design, the noise and rather bad temperatures, there are much, much, much better choices for less money.
Wtf man
Wtf man
Then he need NVIDIA card with CUDA.
u can use this tool with other cards ;)
gl
in case u want something better (wich u dont apparently need) just go for something = or above 7770 (be sure to get gddr5 and not gddr3, its not mentioned all the time)
if you want nvidia card, go for gtx660 or above, its not really worth buying a nvidia mid perf in case you want to stick with it for few years (mid range = 650[TI???])
EDIT : i thought u would like to play with it, but apparently not.
then go for some quadro series.
