Hello mah lovers.
New gaming computer:
With Intel CPU, and 2 good gfx card in SLI ( nvidia ) or a good single card.
BUDGET around: 1639,40 EURO.
I need, CPU, GFX card, Memmory, PSU, Motherboard, harddrive SSD.
I thought about this 2 for CPU, is their a big difference ? Does the socket matter in the future for upgrafe etc ?
CPU: Intel® Core i7-3930K] // Intel® Core i7-3820 Processor in Socket LGA2011 OR Intel® Core i7-3770K with LGA1155 Socket.
GFX CARD: GTX 690 ? But its kinda expensive in SLI, is better to have a single GTX 690 or like 680-670 in SLI ?
So can you guys help me to configure a good PC with nice specs and why! <3
And for a small question beside this: Zowie EC1, EC2 or whait for FK , or AM vs Deathadder 2013, Deathadder Black edition, or the steelseries raw / sensei pro. ( dont say g400, i dont like that shape )
Been using the old Deathadder with 3G sensor, wich was / is perfect, with almost no/small lift distance and good tracking ( 2bad its dead/broken now :( )
ANYWAY thx if you guys can help me out with a gaming computer <3
Looooove

Looooove
Decent CPU cooler such as NZXT Hawk 140, Corsair H100, Thermaltake True Spirit 120 etc...
8GB/16GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2133MHz
GTX690 if you really need CUDA, otherwise HD7970
XFX 650W PSU or Corsair TX650W if you want modular
ASRock Z77 Extreme4/Asus P8Z77-V LX2
1TB Seagate SATA3 HDD
Kingston HyperX 3K/ Samsung 840/OCZ Vertex 4 SSD
What is CUDA ? So then its maybe better to have two GTX 670 in SLI.
I want SSD harddrive, i got a good normal harddrive.
Intel i5 is to low, i need a good i7 and their is some i7 that is better than i770K. Like Intel® Core i7-3930K.
Yeah true, might need a COU cooler, the orginals are not that good still ?
Nvm if you dont know what CUDA is, you wont need it.
AMD drivers arent that bad
GTX690 is dual GPU card already
I listed 3 SSD's
Yes you need CPU cooler if you want to overclock.
Oh so GTX690 is a dual GPU, but its not two seperated gfx card right?
But i can use two GTX680 in SLI :) ?
but In the Netherlands its www.tweakers.net
PSU Shouldn't even be a question, go with a modular one, you have the extra budget, don't, ever, even think about getting a non-modular, ever again.
Not a huge fan of AsRock/Asus's Z77 series myself, I'd recommend MSI's, with that being said, MSI Z77A G45 should be a perfect fit here. As for the SSD, the Vertex and Hyper shouldn't ever be recommended alongside a Samsung 840, they don't even come close in terms of reliability and performance. And people need to stop recommending the i7-3770k, realistically, no one's ever going need it unless specifically bought for purposes that require the HT. Perfect example being right here:
Doesn't have the slightest clue what he's talking about but automatically assumes that more expensive = better, while not even being aware of the fact that the sole reason it is more expensive for is never going to be used in rig or for his purposes of playing games.
Plenty of 'new computer' threads in the 'Building a new PC' section. You can post one urself or follow any of them and i would ask them instead of crossfire any time.
anyone knows a specific good place in Belgium?
best buy guide for januari 2013.
~1500 budget good enough for you?
thx anyway !
If you have a question about pc parts pm.
I have bought my motherboard/memory in this website.
But I'm guessing those are "too bad" since they dont cost 1.6k €

u said this like 2 weeks ago and now i c what u did there ;)
I would have a pc for 1639,41€ too bad thats over ur budget..
Both completely unnecessary for your needs, just.. stop... even looking at any type of hardware yourself, it is evident that you're solely basing a product's performance based on its price rather than having any actual idea what it does. Yes, the socket is of importance, no, the i7-3820 is completely retarded, neither the 3930k or 3770k are realistic options for you either. Stick to i5-3550k, do your research before assuming anything.
Neither is there any necessity for you to purchase a SLI/CrossFire setup. The GTX690 is ridiculous and already operates with 2 GPUs, again, do your research, stop wasting your money, hell, if it were up to me I'd probably just stick a single HD6850 in it and be done with it.
But i dont want ATI, need Nvidia card. So GTX 680 is enough :) ? Or 2 GTX 670 ?
Ok will read a little about 3770k and i5-3550k :)
Keep in mind that the K CPU's have less features than the ones with locked multipliers and that you really need too know what you are going to do with your PC before you buy either a 3570 or a 3570k
What would you get for €1400 ish? My only real preference is that it has an nvidia card.
Gaming / streaming / video editing / general use
Preferably something that can be upgraded rather easily in the years to come as well?
MSI Z77A G45 / i5-3550k / gtx 670/680 those 3 should do perfectly fine for a few more years, the CPU's quite the beast and can be OC'd very well if you ever do need to. Same goes for the GPU really, solid motherboard that supports SLI/CFX if wanted and has otherwise just about everything you need. Throw in a SSD to run as O/S drive, Ram of your preference (8gb @1600/1866 should be enough) and perhaps a Corsair CX500M for a PSU, cheap, effective, modular and more than you'll ever need. There's absolutely no reason to ever go above 500W unless you're running a tri/quad gpu setup with liquid cooling.
Thermalright True Spirit 140 BW ~ 45€
Asus P8Z77-V LX2 ~100€
Kingston HyperX Predator 2x4GB 2400MHz (it's so cheap so why the fuck not) ~ 55€
A brand of your choice GTX 670 ~ 420€
Crucial M4 128GB SSD ~120€
1TB Seagate Barracude HDD ~ 75€
Corsair TX650W PSU ~ 100e
Random DVD-drive ~ 20€
Total: ~ 1270€
This will leave you 130€ from your budget, which you can use for a case, maybe couple of fans and few beers for the joy of building.

go for it
anyway, alexl oder kamz make a post = community is back like it was '07 :ddd
