sennheiser PC 330

I'm looking to buy a new headset, as my Steelseries Siberia isn't working properly anymore. I don't want to spend too much money on it, so after some research I think the Sennheiser PC 330 is the best option to go for.

Are there any of you who have/had the headset? Is it worth the money, or are there better products for the similar price?

e: The headset should be over-ear (I hate on-ear headsets) and also include a boom microphone, since I don't like the clip-on mic from my Steelseries. The maximum price I want to spend on it is €75

Not sure about the 330 but I have had the Sennheiser PC 320 G4ME for a few months now and have no problems with it, really good for the price :)

I have been looking into that one as well. It's obviously cheaper, which in my book is better. Does it go over your ear though? Cos I've heard the ear pads are rather small. And how is the microphone?

I got it at home, I really wouldn't recommend it, especially not for gaming, since it's virtual 7.1 surround sound which equals stereo sound most likely. Furthermore the microphone quality is just average and the sound itself is somewhat weird.

E: Just send the Siberia back to Steelseries, they will give you a new one for sure.

wraith mate, lemme tell you, u are the like 6th person i recommend the sennheiser pc 320 g4me, and u will be the 6th person to buy it, and be the happiest guy around

this headset is awesome, it lacks a bit of bass, but the sound and micro is awesome! go for it!

The best headsets i used was pc151 and pc161 from sennehsier = here every steps in game very clear and where the sounds comes from.

The others that was more expensive and better bass and 5.1 / 7.1 system = was only harder to hear the steps ingame.

as a cheap & decent headset senheiser hd 201 seems to be a great deal (got it and happy with it)

Buy PC 330 or PC 151 also you can buy a HD201

The 151 is way too small, I definitely want an over-ear headset. And the HD201 doesn't have a microphone, does it?

Yep HD201 without micro but allways you can buy a Zalman ZM-MIC 1
i think my next headset will be PC 330

Yeah not too fond of a seperate microphone, so I would always go for a boom mic one :)

using the sennheiser pc 151 for some years now. best headset i ever used..

only weak spot is that it doesnt cover your whole ear. I havnt tried out newer sennheiserproducts, so i dont know how they perform, but i can assure you, that sennheiser is never a bad choice

Obviously going for Sennheiser, have had multiple headphones and in-ears. But the thing is, there are SO many products that I have no idea which one to choose. And since I have no shop around where I can test them, I'm in bit of a pickle which one to choose.

Just get good headphones and a clipon mic, headsets are a wasteman
