I guess someone at EA has been smoking something, because despite their usual "go fuck yourself" attitude they are actually trying to make amends for the seemingly catastrophic launch of their online-only rehash of the SimCity franchise.
Just in case you missed out: it has been plagued by connection and server capacity issues, ridiculously small map sizes and the fact that nobody is really trading or co-operating with each other anyway (which was one of the reasons to put the damn game online in the first place).
Yeah, that's right. You can get two overpriced DLC-strategised games for the price of one. I don't know if any of you were still contemplating getting this game, but maybe this adds some extra incentive.

Never played the SimCity series though.. is it any fun? :)
It can be hard or easy to play depending on what you pick on speciality. Casino and/or culture is hardest for me yet because of the traffic :P
Easiest to make your city rich is to take recycling and electro industry (I made -30000/h but I still made a plus of 100000/h because of selling electronic stuff).
This simcity isn't like the old ones because it seems to be impossible to make just one big city anymore. It's more about selling and sharing sources right now.
Just a tip: wastewater treatment plant produces clean water after time. Took me a time to figure this out. I always run out of water because I didn't knew.
Fuck EA and their pure evil maximum profit policies. 15 euros for a 2 hour DLC, blow it out your ass.
