Just buy it, doesn't really make that much of a difference if you got money to spend, they are all good. If budget were something like 400€, then you should do some deeper research. Ofc fanboys gonna fanboy their products.

And why the bluray-burner? Has anyone ever used one?
He wants a Bluray redader/writer :D

Ska du bara ha 1 hårddisk på 240GB?

install water cooling
He will play on a triple monitor with surround and 3D ? If yes the Titan is obviously the best with his 6GB of vRAM. If he will play on a single monitor with 1080p resolution the Titan is a waste of money. Better getting a GTX 680 or even a 670 because when overclocked they are at the same level.
Yes i know, but I might change for a GTX 690, but its alomst same price as a TITAN so will still go for a TITAN. :P
Parent
GTX 690 is a dual gpu and the Titan is a single gpu, then of course the Titan is a better choice over the GTX 690.

But like i said, Titan is a waste of money if you play on a single monitor with 1080p resolution. You will use only 2GB of vRAM (Maximum) with all the filter AA and AF.

Go with SLI 680 or triple cause TITAN is not worth the money in my eyes.

no floppydisk?
Eh, with a budget of what appears to be 2.500$ or more... I'd go for some SSD Raid 0 setup, a GTX 680/690, probably 2 680's in SLI maybe even Quad if I'm feeling funny., G.Skill Trident's, the i7 3770k, hook it up on a liquid cooling system and nuke that fucker into the 5.4 region. Throw it all in a Lian Li case, and enjoy your 50fps in crysis3.
Quoteand enjoy your 50fps in crysis3.

LOL sad but true
Parent
is the G.Skill Trident's better then the corsairs ?
Parent
Uh... Yes? a 8gb kit goes for ~200 though, it's completely and absolutely unreasonably overpriced, overkill and useless as you'll never even make full use of them, but if you have money to waste and benchmarks to win, go for it.

They are better but you will NEVER notice the diffrence.
Parent
If it's high end i'm sure he will use water cooling? If he won't then i can't really call it high end :)
BUT WHAT IF IT STARTS LEAKING?
Parent
It won't start leaking :DDDDD

"New computer for friend" "for friend"
u meant for urself nerd! ;P
Intel Core i7-3960X
windows 7 ultimate
32GB (4 X 8GB) Corsair DDR3 PC-15000 1866MHz
Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB GDDR5
3TB 7200 RPM SATA 3Gb/s + 256 GB SSD
Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D
and random Bluray reader/writer
Why the other socket ? instead of the more used Socket-LGA1155 and with Intel® Core i7-3770K Processor ?
Parent
Because the next High-End processor will be in the Socket 2011 (Ivy Bridge-E) and the i7-3960X is a 6-Core processor and is better than the i7-3770K. And of course you got more lane x16 for multigpu solution.
