piece of shit you say? one of the best series now. and because you did read the book, and find it bad, doesnt mean it is.
the series is an insult to the books and simplifies absolutely everything.
every twist in the plot is obvious and you can smell it comming.
the series does also do an appalling job at explaining why things happen, it can barely keep up with what is going on.
If you think you can condense over 1000 pages into 10 episodes of 1h with the limitation of film making you are majorly mistaken.
why people hate series/movies after books?
cause it has inherent limitations ( e.g. no presentation of characters thoughts if it doesnt have a narrator) and the format is not able to do it justice.
there is so much content you will never get to know in the series as its just not in there. and everything that is in there is presented in a way less subtle way, in an obvious fashion if you want.
i havnt just read this one series and decided to now bitch about it. ive read quite a lot, some fantasy amongst that, and i must say that it is one of the more intriguing series.
If you like it (more than avergae) you should read the books or you are missing out big time.
I'm going to watch the whole series first, then read the books. or just watch the series and read the books which are already been released as series - if you know what I mean. and why? because I just love the acting part of it. varys, baelish, tyrion, tywin, jaime, jon, bronn, cersei, JOFFREY, and alot others. simply love it.
the acting does not come close to the depth of characters at all.
as i said i strongly believe that you are spoiling it for yourself if you watch it first and know about the plot when you eventually read it.
i have watched the first seasons and read the books (including the 1st one) before the 2nd aired.
the first book was nowhere near as enjoyable and the depth of the book can not be matched in any shortend format.
fuckin virgin faggots
