wifi problems

I'm at work and I want to play ET. Problem is et,xfire,tzac wont connect to the internet. My browser loads everything fine and shit, but other programs wont get connection. Any idea how I can get past this?

ports probably blocked.

get an ET server running on port 80 or 443 and it should be fine.

you can also tunnel everything through HTTP, but I doubt the pings would be playable, but you could at least watch gtv
