We had those mega news with ET:QW, Wolfenstein and Brink, all of them failed hard.
New tactics is to not post main news about it and hope that the game wont fail :D
I'm curious as to which posts you're referring to (or who by). :D everything I see getting deleted is usually some obscene stuff or random flame (+ porn/racism etcetc).
I read up on it briefly and saw nothing that indicated the game being multiplayer or does simply being part of the Wolfenstein franchise mean we should hype a singleplayer game? :P
I'll read up a bit more to see if MP gameplay has been mentioned in any statements or something, as of now all I know is it's running on the idtech5 engine and will be set in an alternate reality where Germany won WW2 and roam 1960s earth with Nazi robots.
ps. how did Wolfenstein 2009 end? I never tried the SP - did Nazi's win in that somehow?
though I am quite interested in playing it, may even give Wolfenstein 2009 a purchase on Steam to see if there's any relation between the two upon release!
I don't think so. Dirtybomb is MP only, PC only & free. Wolfenstein TNO will cost money and most likely will be aimed at the console market. =) it's early days though, there could be many surprises to come from both titles.
