new/old games?

Since my friends and I are somehow bored of the latest games such as:

CS:GO
Fifa 13
Battlefield
warframe
warsow
quakelive
apb reloaded
nfs
cod
OR ET
and please no LOL, WOW, DOTA shit..

we would like to try out something new. So do you know any good games, that we could play online together ? It doesnt have to be a shooter, but please no minecraft or something like that :( For free would be great, but it is also okay if it costs below 20 euro

They have been trying to get this on ESL for quite a while now and i feel like its never gonna happen. Is it hard to set up a ladder and get an OC running for this game?

why do people insist to recommend shootmania on cF. that doesnt happen on any other game related website cause, frankly, its the worst game you could buy with 19€.

borderlands 2 4-pack is on sale @ steam for £30, it is quite fun especially to play in co op. (also £10 each if you are not 4 people) max 4player co op afaik though if you are more :D

Timber and stone (quite new, but awesome game tbh)
Dungeon keeper (will keep you busy, if your pc can run it)
Europa universalis 3 (Control a province/country, survive/take over game)
Rome total war: barbarorium or something like that.

I don't know man, I bought it on Steam in the THQ pack so it's automatically working for me without any key.
