What are your purchases from Asia worth mentioning and why did you buy them?

I recently ordered one of those 120hz 2560x1440 Korean monitors of ebay and a "Borussia Dortmund jersey with the name Reus on the back" via another website.

I both bought them because directly in Asia because its almost impossible to buy them anywhere else.

You got a German girlfriend or whatever possessed you to get that jersey? I've been thoroughly enjoying Dortmund the latter half of the season, but I wouldn't get a shirt.

I have ordered lots of stuff from http://dx.com/ mostly electronics & sun-glasses. Got a phone with TV (analog & digital), http://dx.com/p/w008-3-2-touch-screen-dual-sim-dual-network-standby-quadband-gsm-tv-cell-phone-w-wifi-java-black-44260

Ofc it was completely shit to use, but at least it worked and was cheap. Should order some shades again, I lose 1-2 of them per month.

I used dx too. Its good for buying random electronics and sun-glasses indeed.

Any big mistakes made?
My biggest mistake was purchasing a Chinese Android tablet for 60 euros (Short after iPad 1 was introduced). It actually worked properly but I never used it.

Not really, just that I have ordered some stuff that I never really have use.

Really random, some speakers came in ~4 days, one shade-shipping took 1,5 months. Depends on their stock I think, they might just say that "yea, we have those here available now" even if they have really ran out.
