Actually i lold cause of the fact these words differ a lot in dutch aswell (following german)
Schmetterling = vlinder
Gänseblümchen = madeliefje
Flugzeug = vliegtuig
Kugelschreiber = Balpen
Blütenblättern = bloembladen
Krankenwagen = ziekenwagen (if we would follow te same logic in english it would be called illcar)
Naturwissenschaft = natuurwetenschap
Unterscheidungsvermögen = onderscheidingsvermogen
Aschenputtel = assepoester
